The World Stroke Organization (WSO) is pleased to launch the first Call for Applications for the Fellowship-World Stroke Organization (FWSO).
The Fellowship will particularly recognize excellence, innovation and sustained contributions in stroke and cerebrovascular disease. The Fellow will be a stroke expert with a stroke physician, scientist, nursing or allied health background. To be considered for Fellowship of the WSO, the applicant should already be a member of the World Stroke Organization for at least two consecutive years, with up to date dues.

Advantages to the World Stroke Organization include an increased profile and evidence of leadership by appropriately trained stroke clinicians and scientists.
The Fellowship WSO will be conferred by the WSO Executive on individuals who are felt likely to meet the criteria by the WSO Secretariat. Fellows are expected to have a major and productive interest in stroke and cerebrovascular diseases, with accomplishments that are supportive of the aims and objectives of the WSO, in their practice, research and educational activities.
