Collavidence: Accelerating Stroke Research

The WSO is pleased to support www.collavidence.com which is a new innovate internet platform looking to disrupt stroke research review and funding.

We’d like to draw your attention to a new initiative, Collavidence, a web-based platform that brings together Dynamic Review™ and PrecisionFunding™ to make stroke research more efficient, inclusive, and impactful. Visit at www.collavidence.com. Beta launch on Wednesday, March 30^th, 2022.

Collavidence is an innovative internet platform that will facilitate stroke research review and funding. The Collavidence solution is simple:

researchers submit proposals;
the userbase (experts in the field, patients with the conditions being studied, donors, etc.) reviews proposals, adding new ideas, identifying flaws, or providing key insights in a process called Dynamic Review™. The proposals with the most positive interactions will, with the help of an algorithm, organically become the most suitable candidates for
PrecisionFunding™ (i.e., directed donations), which leads to
the realization of many successfully funded projects with high transparency and a largely invested group of people.

The Collavidence team is based out of the Calgary Stroke Program in Alberta, although its team is diverse in location, ethnicity, age, and gender, united through a shared passion of engaging other motivated people for more focused and impactful stroke research. They have constructed a Scientific Review Committee of around 35 experts/key opinions leaders around the world to review the first projects submitted upon launch.

We are very enthusiastic to share Collavidence in this monthly newsletter, as they seek to not only build a hub for users around the world to discuss stroke-related matters, but also convert this knowledge into actionable proposals that will be funded by individuals who gain awareness through their site. We also believe that as Collavidence grows, so will the WSO, and together, we can foster a strong, global community that can reduce the impact of stroke.
