The World Stroke Organization (WSO), the leading global organization in stroke prevention, treatment, and support, is thrilled to announce the launch of its centralized Stroke Centre Certification Program. This innovative program aims to elevate the quality of stroke care worldwide by standardizing practices and ensuring that stroke centers adhere to the highest standards of treatment and care. We recognize the success of the program previously running in Latin America and are excited to expand this effort globally.

Certification of stroke centers is crucial for several reasons:

Whether an Essential or Advanced stroke center, every hospital should pursue stroke center certification to standardize stroke care across the country and significantly reduce the stroke burden. The Stroke Centre Certification Program is data-driven, and Rupal's expertise in managing global data and making it meaningful is invaluable. With her rich experience in overseeing one of the largest international quality registries, RES-Q, Rupal is well-equipped to manage and drive this certification program worldwide. Her leadership will be instrumental in advancing the quality of stroke care through rigorous standards and continuous improvement.
