Welcome and thanks for stopping by to find out more about the World Stroke Organization.
WSO is the only global organization focused solely on stroke and is made up of 3,000 individual and 90 society members from every part of the globe. While having a small Secretariat team from Geneva, WSO’s education, advocacy and awareness programs are all developed and delivered in partnership with our diverse members; people who, like you, come to our organization to share their knowledge, expertise and experiences with the goal of improving stroke outcomes for all.
Being part of WSO also connects our members to global partners who are working to address common issues in tackling NCDs or ensuring universal access to healthcare. WSO provides stroke expertise to the UN, WHO and the NCD Alliance to ensure that stroke gains and retains visibility in global policy.
Whether you are a health professional, a stroke researcher, a survivor or a caregiver, we sincerely hope that the connections you make and the learning you take from this landmark Conference inspire you to become a member of WSO and to work with our community to address the global challenges that are to come.
If you would like a more detailed overview of our priorities and programs, please visit our WEBSITE.
We would also be delighted to have chat with you!
