The WSO Campaign website has had a major overhaul, aimed at improving access to campaign tools and assets - including the World Stroke Day 2023 Campaign Toolkit.
As World Stroke Day 2023 approaches we are delighted to announce that our public facing campaign website has now been updated to make access to all of WSO's campaign materials and information more accessible. Now aligned with our strategic themes of prevention, stroke symptom recognition & treatment, and stroke recovery the site aims to support those looking to build awareness year round, while always providing a highly visible platform for our World Stroke Day 2023 camaign.
Anyone who wants to be part of World Stroke Day #GreaterThan > Stroke campaign can now access our World Stroke Day campaign guide, off the peg social media posts, posters, e-mail footers and branding and start preparing for Oct 29th. Also available on is our online poster and social post builder which allows you to create a camapign message in a number of languages, ready to download and share with your online friends and local communities.
World Stroke Day 2023 is focused primarily on prevention with a focus on getting a health check to identify and help manage key risk factors for stroke
We're also encouraging everyone to commit to taking time out to get active on each Sunday in October. Get family and friends involved (four-legged ones included!) take a selfie and share it on social with a positive prevention message using the campaign #GreaterThan hashtag.
Another way to help raise awareness in the community is to organize a light-up of a local landmark for World Stroke Day, arrange for a local leader or influencer to stand in front and ask them to share the image on their social media feed.
Whatever you plan to do to raise awareness, big or small, make sure to register your activity on our Global Map of Action and show that together the world can be #GreaterThan stroke.
