Dear WSO friends,
As we look forward to spring and an easing of the current surge of the pandemic the global situation for stroke care and research should improve. The WSO is continuing its many activities remotely. The World Stroke Academy has a wide variety of educational material available to our members that have expanded greatly under the able leadership of Dr. Gustavo Saposnik. I invite all to take advantage of the opportunities. The Future Leaders program has been educating 32 participants over the past few years and the group will hopefully be able to meet in person for the first time in May. We are planning to have the next World Stroke Congress at the end of October in Singapore and I look forward to seeing many of you in person there. More information about the congress will appear over the next few months.
I sincerely hope that by October we will be in a more normal situation.
