WSO is the global voice for stroke professionals, patients and caregivers and our advocacy goal is to ensure that stroke gets the level of policy attention and investment required to address this leading cause of disability and death globally. We work with our members to raise public awareness of stroke and to highlight the urgent need for focused action on prevention, treatment and support.
The inaugural WSO Members Forum will bring together WSO members from a range of backgrounds and contexts to share experience, best practice and resources.
This half day forum will include sessions led by our members about advocacy collaboration and using data to develop advocacy messages in both resource constrained and high income contexts, and from where there is a minimum level of stroke services to more advanced.
We will share updates on WSO resources that can support your work and discuss how we can continue to work together to deliver WSO’s mission to reduce the global burden of stroke.
