The World Federation of Neurology and the African Academy of Neurology are organizing their first virtual one-day teaching course, the WFN/AFAN e-Learning Day, which will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
The World Federation of Neurology and the African Academy of Neurology are collaborating to create the inaugural WFN/AFAN e-learning Day which will be held on October 10th 2020. The Program Committee of this educational event has chosen the topic "Stroke a Treatable and Preventable Disease".
There will be 4 Sessions:
The World Stroke Organisation is proud to contribute to this important educational event. Professor Bruce Campbell (co-chair WSO Young Stroke Professionals Committee) who will deliver a lecture on Basic Brain and Neurovascular Imaging in Stroke during the e-learning day said "This is a terrific initiative to share knowledge using technology to overcome geographical barriers. I'm honoured to represent WSO in this initiative and am looking forward to discussing the specific problems faced in Africa where stroke is a major health challenge."
