This year on World Stroke Day we saw over 250 events registered around the world, and so many more awareness raising activities were shared on social media and in the press. It was fantastic to see members and stakeholders from world come together to raise awareness of stroke and to share the message that with action on prevention we can be #GreaterThan stroke.
While we compile our full impact report, and put the final edits to our highlights video, we are pleased to open the World Stroke Campaign Awards applications for 2023. World Stroke Campaign Awards are a way to recognize the exceptional efforts of our members to raise public awareness of stroke in their communities by leveraging World Stroke Campaign themes. Our awards are also a way for us to identify and share case studies where local creativity and innovation are employed to align global messages with local objectives and context.
There are three campaign award categories for 2023 entries:
To be considered for a World Stroke Day Campaign Award please complete the online submission form, which can be found on the World Stroke Campaign website, by Dec 20th. Award submissions will be reviewed by the Campaign Committee and recommendations will be made to the WSO Executive Committee in the New Year.
