We are excited to share a first glimpse of the World Stroke Day 2021 campaign with our members and partners. This year’s #Precioustime campaign is focused on raising awareness of stroke symptoms and the importance of emergency medical care. The campaign uses a bank of positive images that highlight the moments that could be lost to stroke. Animations, social media posts and survivor storytelling will all combine to raise awareness and engage the public in a global effort to save lives, mobility, memories, speech and independence.

What you can do right now!
You can get started on your World Stroke Day preparations today by gathering and sending the campaign team stories that highlight the impact that stroke symptom awareness (or lack of it) has had for stroke survivors in your community. We also really want to celebrate stroke ‘symptom spotters’- the by-standers, family or community-members who knew the signs of stroke and called for help. We are looking for short stories to share, with good quality photo portraits. If you can help, please contact awiseman@world-stroke.org
