15th Portuguese Stroke Congress (SPAVC) - Virtual Edition

SPAVC defines in Clause 3 of its Statute his "social object: improve prevention, reduce mortality, morbidity and handicap due to stroke as well as to promote research and education, trough the creation of action and support plans, identifying the most effective intervention levels, thus contributing to health improvement in Portugal”.
Stroke is part of the complex that is cerebral vascular disease, in Portugal is the leading cause of mortality and disability, and so direct that accompanies aging population with alarming projections for 2050.
The holding of the Congress will comply with the education component in the above mentioned statutes.
Indeed greatest personalities of national and international scientific class with special dedication to study and research are invited to provide "state of the art" on the main themes selected for the Congress Program (please see n attached)
Congress is intended for health professionals in general, already operating or in advanced stage of preparation, in particular those who, with a practical exercise, are dedicated in a special way to stroke
