NNI will be organising the 18th Singapore International Stroke Conference (18SISC) from 25 to 27 March 2021. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will be held virtually.
The theme of 18SISC is “Building Bridges for Stroke Care”. It reflects the need for collaboration to strengthen bridges between different professional groups caring for stroke patients, between the basic sciences and clinical care, as well as between the different stages of a stroke patient’s journey. These stages include Hyperacute, Acute, Step Down for aftercare, Rehabilitation, Support Group’s aid and Life After Stroke. The conference will include the latest advances in care at different stages as well as stroke issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite being online, the conference’s main programme and pre-conference topical sessions will continue to be delivered by international and local faculty. The session timings and channels have been planned to promote discussion, two-way communication and interaction between faculty and participants.
