#GreaterThan Challenge

Laetitia Yperzeele is young Belgian neurologist responsible for the organization of in-hospital stroke care, rehabilitation and out-patient follow up in her hometown of Antwerp. As passionate about running as she is about getting the best outcome for her patients, Laetitia has literally run alongside her patients eager to help them get back to a sport they love.

This year, alongside a team of outpatients from her hospital, Laetitia completed the Antwerp Ten Miles and short run, as part of her hospital’s Unbeatable project where patients in recovery from stroke, heart disease and cancer trained together for 6 months to prepare for the race.

Laetitia was also selected to participate in the landmark Paris 2024 Marathon Pour Tous an Olympic amateur marathon event, where for the first time, non-professional athletes will be able to run the Olympic marathon route to highlight the importance of sport and exercise for everyone as part of a healthy lifestyle.
